Not a very nice day today on Ben Nevis, although by late afternoon the rain and wind did die down a lot.

Very dry and warm today in Glen Coe. Quite a few teams out on Centurion and Minus One Buttress also, by all accounts.
The flower is Dwarf Cornel
They seemed to have just flowered, with the heat and sun no doubt! There are massess of them on the Easians last week Cheers Gary (Tarmachan Mountaineering).
Thanks for that Gary. These were on the descent from Buachaille Etive Mor in Coire na Tulaich.
Cloudy but very dry on Tower Ridge today. This settled spell of weather looks set to continue. One team was seen on the lower pitches of Bullroar on the Great Buttress of Carn Dearg.
Just a short note to let you all know we have dry rock and fine weather. Hopefully the midge count will be low with a northerly breeze as well:-)
Well done to Nick, Bruce and Bruce on a swift guided traverse of the Black Cuillin. All the photos below were taken by Bruce Duncan on a mobile phone by the way, Nokia E72-1. Eight hours and forty-five minutes end to end with some time spent jogging in to Gars-bheinn and out to the Sligachan Hotel. This traverse was completed yesterday in dry conditions and a veil of cloud producing ideal cool conditions for jogging. Turn up very fit if you want to try this approach without a bivouac.
